In September of this year, specialists of the Kyiv Institute of Rehabilitation had the opportunity to visit one of the leading military medical hospitals in the German city of Landstuhl – the largest military hospital outside the United States.

“We were pleasantly surprised that we use the same medical evidence equipment in the rehabilitation of military personnel and civilians”

Having received an excellent exchange of information with like-minded people, the specialists came to a mutually beneficial cooperation.

It is thanks to the exclusive partner of RMED that the Kyiv Institute of Rehabilitation uses the most modern certified, clinically proven physiotherapy medical equipment. In fact, this makes it possible to provide high-quality rehabilitation, which is extremely relevant in wartime conditions, given the nature of the combined severe injuries and polytraumas received.

With the beginning of the full-scale military invasion of Russia on the territory of Ukraine, wounded defenders began to come to the institute for comprehensive medical rehabilitation. And now, after Landstuhl, we are happy to help foreigners in our native land!

Kyiv Institute of Rehabilitation welcomes Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations fund as its second major sponsor.

We are excited to announce that the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations(AFUO) Future Ukraine fund has joined the United Ukraine Appeal to become the second major sponsor supporting the hospital’s critical rehabilitation services for military and civilians injured as a result of Russian aggression against Ukraine.

Ms. Kateryna Argyrou and Mr. Stefan Romaniw, AFUO Co-Chairs, said today “We are very excited about our new partnership with KIR and the United Ukraine Appeal. Through our Future Ukraine fund we want to provide assistance and relief to Ukrainians impacted by Russia’s war against Ukraine and support them in re-establishing their lives and livelihoods.

“The medical assistance and rehabilitation provided by KIR has already helped hundreds of patients begin that journey. KIR is also actively involved in training specialist rehabilitation personnel from across Ukraine, so we know that our funding will help to expand the provision of medical services,” they added.
